Description

With 290,000 vehicles passing through per day, the Turcot complex is one of the most important interchange in Quebec. A complex entanglement of ramps, at a height of 18 meters (60 feet), with a peak of 30.48 meters (100 feet), ramps extend over 7.7 km.

The entire Turcot project consisted of the reconfiguration and reconstruction of this infrastructure, being one of the most important road complexes in Quebec.

BES's interventions consisted of providing engineering services for the erection of bridges for various phases of the project. 

The services provided for the project are:

  • Erection procedure.
  • Verification of beam stability during erection.
  • Positioning lifting points.
  • Verification of beam stability during lifting and onto supports.
  • Design of lateral supports for stability.
  • Design of support towers.
  • Troubleshooting.
